Culinary Inspiration: Guava Crepes with Lilikoi Passion Fruit Sauce
Looking for ways to bring Hawaiian flavors into your own kitchen? Try this recipe featuring our fruit purees, part of our collection of Hawaiian culinary products. These guava crepes paired with lilikoi sauce are a perfect way to capture the season’s flavors at home.
Guava Crepe Recipe
Ingredients (makes about 15 medium crepes):
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp fine sea salt
3 large eggs (about ¾ cup when cracked)
1 ⅔ cups milk or 1 can coconut cream
1 cup Maui Fruit Jewels Guava Puree
¼ cup melted butter or canola oil
1 tbsp water (adjust depending on egg size)
Instructions:

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.

Add eggs and whisk until smooth. Adjust with water if needed to reach ¾ cup total.

Gradually whisk in milk in stages until lump-free.

Stir in guava puree until fully combined.

Add melted butter or oil, whisking until emulsified.

Rest batter 15 minutes, then cook crepes on a non-stick or cast-iron crepe pan.
Lilikoi Passion Fruit Sauce
Ingredients (makes ~3 servings):
¾ cup Maui Fruit Jewels Lilikoi Passion Fruit Puree
½ cup granulated sugar
Instructions:

Heat puree in a small saucepan until just boiling.

Stir in sugar and bring to a full boil.

Remove from heat. Serve warm or chilled over crepes.
